Who is the ResearchPaperGirl?
Hi! I’m ResearchPaperGirl, a senior at university with a major in International Studies, with a love for languages and literature. I created this blog because I wanted to build the academic resource I wish I had when I was starting out. I wished I had someone help me get through dense 25 page readings, someone who didn’t assume from the get-go that I knew what things like hegemony, or the context of the Treaty of Versailles was. Over the past three years, I’ve made a system that works for me when studying research papers, and I hope I can help you out, or at the very least, give you some food for thought.
When I’m not studying (I love studying), you’ll probably find me doing something sporty/taking a nap. As of now, let’s make learning IR easier, one paper at a time.
What will you find here?
📝 Research Papers simplified: peer-reviewed articles, journal articles, research reports, APA 7 citations (because APA is the best I will fight anyone on that)
📚 Study Tools: Concepts, authors, methodologies, my notes, and study guides.
Who is this page for?
✔ Fellow students drowning in readings
✔Curious learners interested in studying IR
✔ Organised nerds with a love for studying (like me!)
I’m so glad you’re here.
